The 2008 ZZ-R 1400 carried on Kawasaki's 1352 cc flagship sports-tourer with little change from the 2006 and 2007 models. It combined a fuel-injected transverse four, a monocoque aluminium frame and fully adjustable suspension. It was known for very high top speed and fast, stable touring.
